Artists for Peace is proud to present Artak Movsisyan, Associate Professor of History at Yerevan State University, who will give two lectures regarding the origin of the Armenian people and on topics revolving around the history of ancient Armenia.
The first set of lectures will be given on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 7PM at the Glendale Central Library and are entitled “The Issue of the Origins of the Armenian People” and the “Ethnic Character of the Van Kingdom of Ararat-Urartu”. The second set will be held the next day, on June 16 at 7PM at the same venue and are entitled “The Problem of the Islamicized Armenians” and “Mesrop Mashots & the Renaissance of the Armenian Written Word.” RSVP (818) 405-3800 .
